On Saturday, April 11, 2026, Omorenda.space, in partnership with ibriz.ai, hosted an immersive “Experience Day” designed to bridge the gap between ancient Eastern philosophy and modern innovation. From 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the venue transformed into a high-energy festival, serving as a sensory laboratory for participants to explore their own mental states before tackling the Sunday Buildlathon powered by Cursor AI.
A Multi-Sensory Mela Atmosphere

The event was a vibrant ecosystem of activity. While a zipline soared overhead and local food vendors filled the air with the aroma of authentic Newari cuisine, thousands of participants moved through a curated marketplace of ideas. This “Experience Day” was designed to help developers, designers, and thinkers move from personal insight to meaningful problem identification.

The Stalls: Honoring Tradition, Engineering the Future

The marketplace featured a diverse range of stalls that showcased the evolution of human flourishing:
-
Live Stone Carving: Master craftsmen worked live on-site, demonstrating the precision of traditional carving. The display featured intricate sculptures and functional Dhunge Dhara (traditional Nepali stone taps), symbols of ancient sustainable engineering.

-
Hydroponic Farm Showcase: A look at the future of urban agriculture, demonstrating how soil-less farming can provide fresh, nutrient-dense produce in modern digital environments.

-
Earth-First Sustainability: A stall dedicated to vermicompost (fertilizer from worms) highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance with natureโs recycling systems.
-
Mindful Competition: In collaboration with Chess Nepal, a dedicated chess zone was established. Participants practiced deep focus and strategic presence, blocking out the festival noise to sharpen their concentration.
The Program: Nervous System Resets and Collective Intentions
Beyond the bustle of the stalls, the main stage and dedicated quiet zones provided structured sessions for mental recovery and clarity:
-
Sound Healing: A deep-resonance experience using traditional bowls to facilitate a complete nervous system reset.
-
Yoga & Yoga Nidra: Guided sessions introduced participants to NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest), a technique used to improve cognitive performance and physical recovery.
-
Tanabata Tree Ritual: Inspired by the Japanese “Star Festival,” we set up a space for Tanabata wishes. Participants wrote their goals, intentions, or problems they wished to solve on colorful strips of paper and hung them on a dedicated tree, creating a moving map of the community’s collective aspirations.
-
Reflection & Release: A central activity where participants engaged in journaling and “brain-dumps” to clear mental clutter, followed by a symbolic release activity to let go of personal stressors.

Day 1 was not about writing code; it was about experiencing the problem space. By engaging with stone carving, mindful games, and restorative practices, participants moved away from “stress brain” and into a state of intentional awareness.
